Premier Gallant to visit business people in Moncton, Bouctouche and Miramichi today

FREDERICTON (GNB) – Premier Brian Gallant will spend the day in Moncton, Bouctouche and Miramichi to discuss plans for job creation, improving the province’s fiscal situation, and making life more affordable for New Brunswick families.

“We have to change our approach to job creation and will aggressively pursue every opportunity to move New Brunswick forward,” said Gallant. “Communities in this province have unique needs when it comes to jobs and visiting them is an opportunity to share the government’s vision for change and hear their views.”

Gallant has been meeting with a number of business organizations and their members from across the province. He previously visited Saint John, Grand Tracadie-Sheila, Bathurst, Campbellton, Edmundston and Grand Falls.

Today’s itinerary:

  • Breakfast with the Moncton Chamber of Commerce at 7:30 a.m., Delta Beausejour, 750 Main St., Moncton.
  • Lunch with the Bouctouche CBDC, 11:30 a.m., Pays de la Sagouine, 57 Acadie St., Bouctouche.
  • Dinner with the Miramichi Chamber of Commerce, 5 p.m., Kinsmen Centre, 100 Newcastle Blvd., Miramichi.
